What’s the thing you would do if you didn’t have any worries?
If you had all the time in the world PLUS plenty of money and energy.
And yes, I know you might buy some things you’ve always wanted, but that’s not what I’m talking about here.
What I mean is, what would you create?
What hobby would you pursue?
What craft would you use to fill up the hours because you COULD, not to get something or somewhere, but simply because it would bring you great enjoyment?
Not because it would impress your neighbors or your friends.
Not because it’s what people have always told you you’d be good at.
But because you’ve always known that this was something that would bring you JOY.
That you’ve thought of wistfully over the years, dreaming of “what if” and “maybe someday”.
I have a “what if” for you….
What if you started to spend time doing it now.
No matter what worries still exist.
Even if you feel like you don’t yet deserve to take that luxurious time for yourself doing something that is simply for your enJOYment.
The thing is, you deserve joy.
Despite what life has thrown you and has led you to believe from time to time, you’ve always known that it’s true that you deserve joy.
If you didn’t, you wouldn’t be reading this.
So if you’ve always known deep down that you deserve joy, how can you give yourself permission right now to create within your current life activities that are just for you, to bring you joy?
This has been my path, and it’s amazing what’s fallen away (like anxiety, nervousness and worries) as I continue to give more space to the things I create simply to bring myself joy.
Along the way, I’ve discovered that I’ve always known I deserve joy, but on the surface my actions weren’t reflecting that.
So, I adjusted my actions to spending time every day in joy.
When I felt like I didn’t have enough time, I would start singing to myself a variation of…I have all the time I desire and require plus a luxurious overflow of time.
Every second of every day, you’re creating your reality.
Give yourself the gift of doing what brings you JOY.
